Manitou ULM

Manitou presented the world's smallest telehandler in a video message. The Ultra Light Manitou finds its place where compact articulated loaders fall short in lifting height.

The ULM weighs 2,700 kg including accessories, is less than 1.5 meters wide and just 1.9 m high. In developing the compact telehandler, Manitou engineers have retained key features such as engine power, lift height and lifting capacity. The exact figures have not yet been disclosed.
The ULM is four-wheel drive and has four-wheel steering. The rear axle is a pendulum axle for pleasant driving even on uneven terrain. In the cabin we find the Manitou JSM joystick for operating the machine.

Although the machine was primarily developed for use on construction sites, Manitou certainly sees applications in agriculture. Due to its compact construction, the ULM can easily be used in low or small sheds, but also in greenhouses or on horticultural companies. The first Manitou ULM telehandlers can be ordered at the end of this year.
