One of the most important features is the low dead weight. The lifting capacity is 1250 kg for the ULM 412 and 1500 kg for the ULM 415, with a lifting height of 4.30 m. This makes it possible to transport them on a trailer (3500 kg), because the own weight is -depending on the version and options- limited to:
● 2550-2750 kg for the ULM412H
● 2700-2900 kg for the ULM415H

The machine will be available in three trim levels: Essential, Comfort and Classic. In addition, three types of quick coupler are provided: 4-point, Euro and Skid steer, with a complete range of homologated accessories.

Both telehandlers offer a maximum lifting height of 4.3 meters with the aid of a two-piece telescopic mast. Also in this edition Manitou has again opted for a Yanmar engine; a three-cylinder engine with an output of 35 hp (25.7 kW) and coupled to a hydrostatic four-wheel drive.

The ULM is equipped with the JSM Joystick for operating the hydraulic functions, just like the other telehandlers in the MLT series. The joystick is mounted on the armrest that moves with the driver's seat.
